Blogs.Nokia.com has a great video of the N97 homescreen in action. I know there are tons of videos around the internet but this one is different in that it shows the user typing without using the qwerty keyboard. You can clearly see the user using an on screen T9 in landscape mode (around the 10 second mark). Looks good in my opinion. This video got me thinking as to when Nokia will implement such a system for there dial pad. I believe currently the dial pad is setup with only digits making it difficult to dial numbers with letters (example: 1-800-N97-FNTC). Hopefully this will be changed in a future firmware update.
