Umm, I did what the person at the phone shop told me to.
Charge the phone for 8 or 10 hours. (When I bought it)
Charged it for 10 hours, hoping that it wouldn't ruin the battery life like what happened to my N82's battery. (Charged it for 2 hours instead of 6)
BUT, seems like my N97 COULDN'T last for 2 days if I play with it (Like opening applications, messaging, calling, web browsing, etc)
Is it my battery or is that really how it's meant to be?

restart ur phone then charge mine does that when i use the alarm sometimes

hmm i got a message today there was a new firmware, it's not 2.0 though, it's 1.2.
Is the 2.0 software delayed (cause i don't think they'll be releasing 2.0 a few weeks after this update) or is it me who's late with updating my phone to 1.2?

Sounds like you might have a faulty battery. Can you change it out?

My n97 battery is not working good, shows only 2 bars and doesn't charge fully. firmware v 11.* does anybody else have same issue ?

Yay finaly F/W v20 looks like what the N97 should be like well nokia your getting there as always even if it is fationably late as usual
@davros yes the theme is pre loaded it comes with 3 in total .

I also mentioned reception issues. Our n97s are still under warranty.
