Use the Shortcuts widget, select Bookmark, add your Google Reader bookmark from the Web browser, done.

I'm getting rather tired of seeing news about a new _____.wgz that does nothing more than launch a mobile web page. What happens when you hit a link that navigates you away from the mobile site? Did the author provide a "Back" button (usually not)? Can you bookmark the site for later (no automatic inheritance of Web features)? It's NOT a actual widget experience. Please stop.

The problem is that there is no integration between this app, web browser and e-mail. If you want to read the original post on the web, you can't. And if you want to share the news with someone, the e-mail does not open. A Google Reader homescreen widget, with auto-updates would be perfect!

I think that clicking on the empty star next to the post title you want to save will keep it available for offline reading and tun the empty star into a fully yellow star.
I will have to try it out a bit later on!

More to come soon!!!

This is not a original widget. Its only a embedded link to google reader made for iPhone: http://www.google.com/reader/i/

It's nice and simple, I like it. No homescreen widget though.. but that's a minor complaint as I've found the in-built RSS wigets quite unusable - there's just not enough space.

Someone make an Evernote client now!

I would love to have this feature as well. I'm desperaty seeking a Google Reader application with similar quality and feel as Gravity, the popular Twitter application.

Thanks Ben for posting this. It will come in handy for now.
