A few weeks ago, I posted an entry concerning Moubail.com’s great utility widget, Deviceinfo 2.0, which you can read here.
Today I would like you all to meet iSearch 1.1.
iSearch is a finger-friendly widget which currently supports searches on 8 different engines. It can also be placed on the N97′s homescreen, granting you quick and easy access to your favorite online search engines.
The homescreen widget is one big tab that will take take you straight away to the application. The tab itself has a simple yet elegant touch to it, as you can see from the screenshots.
The widget will redirect your searches to the “mobile” versions of the websites, hence making your searches faster and optimized for your reading, as seen on the screenshots.
iSearch has the following search engines built-in:
- for web sites: google, bing
- for images: google, flickr
- for video: youtube
- tweets: twitter
- facts: wikipedia
- dictionary: definr
To make one of the above your default search engine, simple press the “return” icon next to it, which will make a the return arrow turn green.
iSearch 1.1 Can be downloaded HERE
