Al the scratches are on the screenprotector, so these picture are worth nothing..

Indeed. The screenprotector that came with my N97 lasted about a month before it was hideously scratched. Eventually the metal triangle in the corner snagged on my belt and so I took it off. WIthout the screenprotector the screen is so more vivid! Everything looks brighter and after 2 weeks, not a scratch to be seen on the actual screen. Am using a "sock" inside my jean pockets just in case tho!

These pictures are worthles..!

Al the scratches are on the screenprotector, so these picture are worth nothing..
The material of the screenprotector are from a other material than the physical screen itself and the screen protector is more prone to scratching than the physical screen.

That doesnt take away that it is wise to use a screenprotector, but i was just criticizing the pictures.

My white N97 came with a surface protector. After only 4 weeks of intensive use the protector shows heavy scratching. Even though I've only carried it in my pocket by itself: no keys, coins, etc. Can only conclude that the scratching is caused by my nails when tapping and sliding items on the screen. The scratching is so bad that it really reduces the visibility of pictures and movies.
But at least I can replace it with a new one for less than 10 euros
